This Privacy Policy describes how DPConsulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Discover More mobile application (the “App”).
1) Information we collect
a) You provide directly
- Account details (name, email, optional phone).
- Survey responses and profile data you enter in the App (e.g., personality or spiritual‑gifts assessments).
- Support messages or other content you send us.
b) Collected automatically
- App activity & device information (app version, device model, OS version).
- Crash and performance data if diagnostics are enabled.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or health data unless you explicitly grant permission in a future feature.
c) From third parties (if enabled)
We use Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics) which may process limited identifiers and diagnostics to provide core functionality.
2) How we use information
- Provide core functionality (account creation/login, saving survey responses, showing results).
- Personalize your experience (compute scores and show your results).
- Maintain safety and integrity (security, abuse prevention).
- Improve the App (troubleshooting, debugging, diagnostics if enabled).
- Communicate with you (support and important service notices).
We do not sell your personal information or share it for third‑party advertising.
3) Legal bases (EU/UK)
We process personal data as needed to perform our contract (provide the App), for our legitimate interests (security, improvement), to comply with law, and—where required—based on your consent (e.g., optional analytics).
4) Sharing
- Service providers we use to operate the App (e.g., Firebase).
- Legal and safety requests where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
5) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and then delete or anonymize it unless longer retention is required by law. You may request deletion at any time (see Your choices).
6) Your choices & rights
- Access, update, delete: View/update profile in‑app. To request account deletion (which deletes associated personal data not needed for legal compliance), use Settings → Delete Account or contact us.
- Opt‑in features: Control optional diagnostics/analytics if provided.
- EU/UK/California rights: Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or opt‑out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise rights.
7) Children
The App is intended for users 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including Firebase Security Rules and encrypted transport (HTTPS). No system is 100% secure.
9) International transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than yours (e.g., United States). We use appropriate safeguards, where required, for cross‑border transfers.
10) Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here and update the effective date. Material changes may be communicated by additional notice.
